John Patrick Ahearn, 58, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Channing Cemetery in Channing with Chad King pastor of First Baptist Church in Silverton officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.
Mr. Ahearn was born March 11, 1948, in Massachusetts. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked in maintenance at Affiliated Foods.
He married Alta Ahearn on March 11, 1989. She preceded him in death in 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Callie Chirchirillo of O'Fallon, Mo., and Barbara Ahearn of Silverton; two grandchildren, Jacob Chirchirillo and Cady Chirchirillo, both of O'Fallon; and a dear friend, Alice Temple.
The family suggests memorials be to the Barbara Ahearn Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 9, Silverton, TX 79257.
