Genealogy of the Binney Family in the United States, by Charles J. F. Binney, pg 86; print, Albany, NY·1886 (Google Books): 87. Colonel Amos Binney, merchant and U. S. Navy agent of Boston, son of Amos Jr & Mary (Prentice) Binney of Hull, born in Hull April 15, 1778; died in Boston Jan. 11, 1833, aged 55, at the house he owned and occupied, corner of Hancock and Mt. Vernon Sts., Boston, of liver complaint. Published Boston, Jan. 2, 1799, and married Feb. 21, 1799, by Rev. Thomas Baldwin to Hannah, daughter of Nathaniel and Mary (Gray) Dolliver of Marblehead. She was born in Marblehead, March 24, 1779; died at her late husband's residence in Boston, Feb. 18, 1847, aged 68, on the same day, and near the same hour as her son, Dr. Amos Binney died in Rome, Italy. Children born in Boston. ix. Wm. Bambridge, b. March 23, 1816; d. March 19, 1817.

Columbian Centinel dated 19 Mar 1817, Boston: Binney, William Bambridge, son of Amos Binney, d. in Boston yesterday.

Note: There is some discrepancy with the burial and death date; he was interred on the 19th, and they seem to think he died on the 17th, some recs are saying he died on the 19th. The newspaper article cleared that up. There is not supporting documentation regarding a son named William b. on the 23rd and d. on the 23rd Mar 1817.
