Mr. Houchens was born on August 24, 1968 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of Kalfus “Butch” and Virginia Moore Houchens. He was a former Fork Lift Driver, an employee of Amazon in Jeffersonville and a member of North Charlestown Church of God.
Survivors include his sons, Tyler Houchens of Sellersburg, IN and J. T. Houchens of New Albany, IN; step-daughter, Kerisa Lockwood(Brandon) of Louisville, KY; mother, Virginia McKechnie of Charlestown; brother, Ronnie Houchens(Trisha) of Charlestown; three grandcildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday.
