He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sydney Dewayne Benefield; and brother-in-law, Machael Farthing. He is survived by a daughter, Jessica; two sisters, Sandy and Dellina; one brother, Johnny; one granddaughter, Alicia; several nephews and nieces. A family and friends gathering will be held at a later date.
