Bert is a son of Heaton Lunt and Chloe Haws - the fourth of their nine children.
Bert married Alene Johns on March 23, 1940.

Henry Barthen "Bert" Lunt is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alene Johns Lunt, and his son, Mark Henry Lunt; his brothers, Virl, Ancil, Bill, and his sisters, Romola Hanchett and Eula Romney. He is survived by his son, Colin Lunt and his wife, Glendia Ann; his daughter, Kerry Bock and her husband, George; his brother, Wilbur, and sisters, Carol Hill, Sarah McGuire, and Donna Craven; nine grandchildren and 16.75 great-grandchildren.
Bert is a great example of someone who loved to work, loved his country, provided for and loved his family, helped those in need, and who loved the Savior. Bert and Alene served in the Los Angeles Temple and in the San Diego Temple. They also served as a couple in the Canada Calgary Mission.
