Healdton – Funeral Services for Mrs. Scotta Dell (Thompson) Auld, 72 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church of Healdton with Bro. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Scotta was born on August 12, 1944 in Long Beach, CA to the late Mr. Paul Thompson and Mrs. Mary Madeline (Price) Thompson. She departed from this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at her home in Healdton.

Scotta was raised in Healdton attending school there. At the age of 16 she married the love of her life, Mr. Eddie Auld on November 4, 1961 in Waurika. After Eddie was discharged from the United States Military, they were soon blessed with 3 sons, Brent, Tracy and Jason. Scotta was a high devoted mother and homemaker, always providing for her children and their friends.Her family always came first and was her most prized possession. Scotta along with her best friend Jody and her husband Eddie opened Scotta’s Convenient Store in Healdton in 1989. They successfully owned and operated the store until its sale in 2001. Scotta and Eddie then moved to Lake Texoma residing at Sherwood Shores. They enjoyed their retirement there until his passing on January 11, 2014. Afterwards, Scotta moved back to Healdton to be close to her family and began working at Delberts Grocery of Healdton. She loved everyone there and enjoyed meeting the public. Scotta was of the Assembly of God Faith.

Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Myrna Cook; brother, Paul Dean Thompson; infant grandson, Erick Auld and nephews, Craig King, Dee Ellis and Joe Cook.

Scotta is survived by her sons; Brent Auld and wife Tonya of Gordonville, TX, Tracy Auld and wife Tricia of Healdton and Jason Auld and wife Monica of Enos, OK; twin sister, Sandra Campbell and husband Charles of Healdton; sister, Shirley King and husband Waymon of Headlton; brother, Max Blevins of Fittstown; lifelong best friend, Jody Smith and husband David of Healdton; 6 grandchildren, Aaron, Kolby, Morgan, Madison, Kayte and Ethan; adopted son, Mike Harrison of Healdton; sister in law, Donna Puckett and husband Mike of Oil City; brother in law, Vic Auld of Ringling and numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Johnny King, Toby Thompson, Curtis Scott, Chad Puckett, Danny King and Cody Thompson.

Honorary bearers will be her Co-Workers of Delberts Grocery.

A special thank you to to Amy Scott and Cross Timbers Hospice, care takers, Victoria Huckaby, Wanda Jackson, Sharon Wigham, Freda Wright and Rubetta Miller.

A family visitation is scheduled from 5-7 P.M. Sunday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
