Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church for Frank Omann, 80 who died Saturday at St. Cloud VA Medical Center. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Frank Omann was born in St. Stephen to Joseph and Gertrude (Jocklick) Omann. He married Mary Lou Kandels on June 26, 1951, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and received a Purple Heart. He worked at St. Cloud VA Medical Center and also worked as bartender at Pine Grove in St. Stephen for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, St. Stephen American Legion and St. Stephen Men's Society.

Survivors include son and daughters; four grandchildren; and sister, Anne Thiesen of Sauk Rapids.

He was preceded in death by son and daughter, John and Joan Marie; and brothers, Joseph, Victor and Adolph.
