Mrs. Collins passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, peacefully at the home of her care givers (granddaughter and grandson) Melissa and Brad Dickerson.
She was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late B.J. and Ann Utley, Sr.
Mrs. Collins was the owner of Lace & Things in Hendersonville, a vendor at the Memphis and Nashville flea markets for several years, and spent the winter months in Florida as a vendor of the flea markets there before moving back to Jackson.
Mrs. Collins was a member of First Baptist Church of Bemis.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Collins; daughters, Joan Newman and husband John, Ginger McGuffin Castlelaw; brother, B.J. Utley, Jr. (Mary).
She leaves her son Bobby McGuffin; daughters, Laura Conquest (Wes), Johnnie Wylie (Ricky), Kathy Kail (Jan Baker); brother, John Utley (Adrienne); five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
