ALBERT J. CANUEL, 81, of Wood Street, a doffer for the former Sagamore Manufacturing Co. in Fall River for 30 years before retiring, and a farmer for Charles E. Fisher & Sons for 12 years before retiring in 1993, died Saturday at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Irene M. (Lavigne) Canuel.
Born in Somerset, he was a son of the late Fabien and Marie Louise (Cole) Canuel.
Mr. Canuel was also a stackman for the former Rothwell Foundry in Swansea. He was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church in Swansea. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Holy Name Society.
