Mrs. Anna M. Leale, wife of Richard A. Leale, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William H. Hall, 2711 Regent Street. Her husband has been desperately ill for several weeks and the constant strain of his care proved too great for her reduced health.
Mrs. Leale was born In Denmark 71 years ago. She lived with her husband and family in San Francisco until the fire of 1906 when their home was destroyed. At that time they came to Berkeley and have made their home in this city ever since with the exception of a short time spent on a farm in Contra Costa county.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Mrs. Hall, and a grandson, Richard E. Hall.
Funeral services will he held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the chapel of Edward Niehaus at Grove and Derby Streets. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery.
