Jessie I. (Irwin) Schroeder, 77, of Hellam Township, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Earl L. Schroeder.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Rose Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Everhart-Jackson-Heffner Funeral Home Inc., 1205 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schroeder was born on Dec. 10, 1916, in Cardiff, Md. She was the daughter of the late Samuel M. Irwin and the late Grace E. (Wilson) Jones.

She was employed by Tioga Textiles. She was a member of the Democratic Club and American Association of Retired Persons.

Mrs. Schroeder is survived by a stepson, Lynn Schroeder of Seven Valleys; and two step-sisters, Marie Kling of South Carolina, and Jackie Geiselman of York.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Scott Aubel of First Assembly of God of York.
