Abijah "A. J." was a Friends minister, having served in New Castle, Indiana; Glen Falls, New York; Newburg, Oregan; and Berkeley, California.

At the time of his passing he was a member of Whittier, California, Meeting. Surviving are a son, Harold Trueblood Weaver; a granddaughter, Zella Ivalu; two grandsons, Harold Edmund and Larry Scobey, all of Scotia.

He married Ivalu Trueblood and they had a son born in Indiana during 1898 that they named: Harold Trueblood Weaver. He died during 1981. He was a machinery designer in Los Altos, CA.
