POWELL, Nell Joe, 94, resident of Montgomery, AL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 8, 2017. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Donald Payne officiating. Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband, James Powell, and son, James A. Powell. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Evelyn Powell; daughter-in-law, Katherine Powell; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren along with extended family and many friends. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
