SCLAFANI, FLORA F.
Of Williamstown, NJ, died peacefully with her daughters by her side on February 9, 2007 at the age of 89.
Devoted wife of the late James V. Sclafani (1910-2006). Loving mother of Louis (Lou) Sclafani and his wife Carole of Marlton, Victoria (Vicki) Orzechowski and her husband Len of Cherry Hill, Rosemarie Cirina and her husband Larry of Tennessee and Carol Novick and her husband Garr of Cherry Hill. Flora is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Angela Kopet, Butch Cirina, L.J. Orzechowski, Flora and Maria Novick and her great grandchildren Isabella and Andrew.
Flora was born on September 30, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a long time resident of Haddon Township before moving to Holiday City in Williamstown. Flora devoted her life to her family and enjoyed many beautiful memories with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting and playing Skippo. In her children's earlier years, she was the past President of St. Rose of Lima PTA and Bishop Eustace High School Mother's Club. Flora also spent many years as a member of Our Lady of Lourdes auxiliary and the Williamstown Rotary Club. She will be missed by all who knew her and remembered by the happy smiles she brought to so many by the cute jokes she would tell.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday 7:00-9:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown and Thursday 10:00-11:00 AM at St. John Neumann R.C. Church, 234 Sicklerville Rd., Sicklerville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Williamstown Rotary, P.O. Box 183, Williamstown, NJ 08094 and/or St. John Neumann Church, P.O. Box G, Sicklerville, NJ 08081.
