Services for Mr. Irvin E. "Irv" Sorey, age 71, of West Monroe, LA will be 10 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Cart Allison and Jim Moran officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery - Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Sorey died Sunday, August 17, 2003 in West Monroe.
Mr. Sorey was a long-time member of the White's Ferry Road Church of Christ and was a manager, buyer and associate during his time with Gibson's, Howard Brothers, and Wal-Mart Corporation.
Survivors Include his wife: Betty Telford Sorey; son: Ray Sorey and wife Liz; daughter: Cindy Moore and her husband Steve, all of West Monroe; three grandchildren: Beth Sorey, Chelsea Moore and Jonathan Moore; and one sister: Mary Hope Carroll of Tioga, LA.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 9 and Wednesday from 9 until time of service at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
