Doris Ruth Margraf, 90, formerly of 4253 County Highway 39, Upper Sandusky, died at 12:10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at The Inn at Westbrook, Upper Sandusky.

She was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Upper Sandusky, to Isaac and Cora (Haas) Corfman. She married Gerald S. Margraf Aug. 9, 1947, and he died Oct. 14, 2010.

Surviving are three children,three stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, and two sisters

She also was preceded in death by a brother, James Corfman.

Doris was a homemaker and worked for a short period of time as a floral designer. During World War II, she worked as a stenographer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She was a 1944 graduate of Eden Centralized High School, attended Tiffin University, and was a lifetime member of the former Smithville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. For hobbies, Doris loved her flowers, loved to sew and was a great pie baker.

Burial will follow at Smithville Cemetery, Wyandot County
