Mrs. Ada E. Ream Kirchgessner, seventy-six, of 526 N. Jefferson St., died at her home at 10:20 p.m. Saturday after an illness of three years. The wife of the late Joseph Ream, she was a life-long resident of Lancaster. Her parents were the late Adam and Harriet Donohue Snyder. She is survived by six sons: Charles, city; William A., at home; Joseph A., city; Carl E., Lancaster R7; Frank and Charles, city; two daughters, Mary E., wife of Anthony Mastriano, and Theresa M. Frankhouser, both of the city. Also surviving are 31 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. (Intelligencer Journal - Dec 14, 1953)
