I.W. Holman, Coroner of Callaway County, ruled death a suicide. Death was caused by a gunshot wound just below the heart. The informant was Mrs. W.M. Craghead, mother of the deceased.
Mr. Craghead was born August 11, 1904, in Pike County, Missouri, the son of William Mike and Rosa Pearl (Yake) Craghead, both born in Fulton. Mr. Craghead was single and was a laborer.
Arrangements were under Leo G. Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial was in Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery.
