ODESSA Geraldine "Jerry" Collier, 95, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Odessa died January 24, 2013. Geraldine was born in Dublin, Texas, but spent most of her adult life in Odessa.
Geraldine worked for twenty years at Henderson Parker Insurance Agency and was very active in the work and extended activities of that agency.
She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Odessa for years in steadfast service to her faith. While living in Sarasota she worshiped at the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Collier.
Throughout the years of her life, she was devoted to her family.
Our family would like to sincerely thank The Inn of Sarasota Bay Club for the loving care given to her throughout her long illness.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Byron McWilliams officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
