MANCHESTER, Tenn.—Services for Nathan Thomas Alford, 68, a retired farmer and sawmill operator of Manchester, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fountain Grove Cemetery.
Alford died Friday [December 3] in Good Samaritan Hospital, Woodbury [Cannon Co.], Tenn.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucy Mae Finley Alford, Manchester; seven sons, George Allen, Marion, Bobby and Henry Alford, Manchester, Tom and Billy Wayne Alford, Woodbury, and Donnie Alford, Jackson, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Evelyn Johnson and Mrs. Annie Ruth Prater, Woodbury, and Mrs. Minerva Espy, Manchester; two brothers, Levi Alford, Murfreesboro, and Houston Alford, Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. Margret Bryant, Charleston, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Johnson, Manchester; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
