Damon L. Massie, age 82, of Navarre passed away Thursday at Hanover Healthcare. Born in Akron on December 10, 1934 he was a U.S. postal employee. He was a Korean War Veteran, member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was loyal to the Navarre V.F.W. Post 5047 and Prosperity Foxchasers Association.
Damon was preceded by his parents, Ana and Erma Massie; a son, Steven Massie; and two sisters, Carol Robinson and Shirley Arp. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 55 years, a loving father to his son, precious grandfather to two grandsons, and special brother to his two sisters.
