Jean Lee Winter, 71, passed away on 5 May 2017 at Northwoods Rehabilitation & Care Center in Moravia, NY, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Jean was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Henry and Evelyn Winter of Hampton, NJ. She was welcomed into the family by her three older siblings, Joan, Dianne, and Susan Winter.
She attended Hampton Elementary and North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, NJ. She graduated from Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA with BS degree in Education
Jean lived in the Cortland, NY area for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Evelyn Winter and her sister, Susan Winter Harris.
Jeannie is survived by sisters, Joan Randolph of Sunland, CA, and Dianne (Dee) Winter of Hewitt, TX; nephews and nieces, Jeff Bowles of Alexandria, VA, Alison Bowles of NYC, Jennifer Bowles of Sacramento, CA, Dan Bowles, Wendy Morrow of Hewitt, TX and Wade Morrow of Hewitt, TX, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.
Arrangements are by Wade Funeral Home, Moravia, NY.
Interment will be on Tuesday, May 30, at 2 pm, in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ.
