Visiting at New Southside Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003. Religious service at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Arbroth, at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, conducted by the Rev. Joe Paul. Interment in Wall Cemetery, Wall. Survived by three daughters, Dorothy Antoine and Debra Dorsey, both of Baton Rouge, and Patricia Webb of Monterey; two sons, Horace Antoine and Wardell Antoine, both of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Maybell Carter, Thelma Trim and Ruth Seaberry, all of Baton Rouge, and Gloriadine Johnson of Brusly; four brothers, John Henry Spooner, Charles Spooner and Felton Spooner, all of Baton Rouge, and Fred Spooner, Compton, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was church mother of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Arbroth.
