James and Veronica had nine children; James and Ruth (Nee Gavin)Leonard of West Chester,PA., Gerald Leonard of Conshohocken,PA.,Donald of West Conshohocken,PA., Anne Veronica(Nee Leonard) and Bill Rittenbaugh of Phoenixville,PA. Robert Leonard and Marge of Swedeland,PA.,Kathleen M.(Nee Leonard)and Gerald Casey of Norristown,PA., Joseph P. Leonard of Conshohocken,PA. Patrick J.Leonard and Grace Mary Leonard of Newcastle, Northern Ireland, UK., Miriam M. (Nee Leonard) and Louis Newby of Norristown,PA. Veronica also survived by a sister Catherine (Nee Mason) Greenwald of Philadelphia,PA. Predeceased by Brother William Mason, Mary(May)Mason , Joseph Mason formally of West Conshohocken,PA. and Johnson Home in Royersford, and Andrew Mason of Phila.PA. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Veronica loved to sew, sing Irish songs and spending vacations at Cape May New Jersey. She enjoyed cooking large meals for her Family on Sundays. She was a life long member of St. Gertrude's R.Catholic Church in W.Conshohocken,PA. She sew many religious banners and vestment for the Church Priest. She also sewed her daughters wedding gown and matching flower girl gown. Veronica loved throwing parties for her family. She had an enduring love and pride in her children and her four grandchildren.
