Bernice V. Richardson, 95, passed away on May 2, 2017, at Rosewood Nursing Home in Independence, Missouri.
Bernice was born on June 29, 1921, in Armstrong, Missouri to Ledrew and Willie Margaret Terrill.
She was preceded in death by her, parents, Ledrew and Willie Margaret Terrill, her husband Charles Richardson, and her siblings, Leslie Terrill and Richard Terrill.
Bernice grew up in Fayette, Missouri. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Fayette, Missouri in 1943. She attended Madam C.J. Walker Beauty School in Kansas City, Missouri, where she received a Cosmetology License and was very successful.
Bernice married Charles in 1947. They were happily married for forty-nine years. She was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She enjoyed hat making and being a Seamstress.

Richardson leaves to cherish her memories, her nieces and nephews: Erika and Patrick Sandiford, Adriene Terrill, and Myla Jones of St. Louis, Missouri; cousins: William Jackson, Carol and Reginald Armstrong of Kansas City, Missouri and Pam (Murray) Rabon of Dallas, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Bernice V. Richardson will be held Saturday, May 6, 11:00 a.m. at the Lawrence A. Jones and Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel.
Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery.
