NICKERSON - Beverly Noel Brown, 67, died Nov. 12, 1997, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Nov. 1, 1930, at Partridge, the daughter of Clark B. and Anabel Short White. She was a 1947 graduate of Partridge High School. A Nickerson resident for 42 years, moving from South Hutchinson, she was a homemaker, painter and artist.
She belonged to First Christian Church, Hutchinson, American Society of Tole Painters, Newton, was a charter member of Idona Club, Nickerson, Who's Who of American Women and was former member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Hutchinson.
On May 16, 1947, she married Harold Brown at Partridge. He survives.
other survivors include: four sons, Larry, Edna, Dale, Wichita, Mark, Woodward, Okla., and Todd, Salina; eight daughters, Judy Niehoff, Salina, Susan Adkins, Topeka, Janet Brown, Brenda Brown and Terri Proffitt, all of Nickerson, Debra Palmer, Hutchinson, Anabel Stewart, South Hutchinson, and Lori Brown, Grand Prairie, Texas; a sister, Mary Frances Burns, Hutchinson; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur "Bud" white; and sister, Vivian Tennant.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Partridge Cemetery, with Paster Melvin Walton presiding. Friends may call fom 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the funeral home.
