A native and lifetime resident of Granville County, Aubrey was the son of the late Robert Thomas and Pearl Nutt Clark. He was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church and sang in the choir for over sixty-six years. Aubrey was owner/operator of Clark’s Garage for over fifty years.
Surviving is his wife of sixty years, Ardyce Young Clark of the home; daughter, Nancy Clark Jordan (Daniel) of Oxford; one nephew and two nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl T. Clark.
