MOORE, JUANITA F., 92, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Jefferson Place.

Born in Hardin Co., KY, she was the former Juanita Burkhead and was retired from G.E. after 29 years of service. She was a longtime quilter at St. Joseph's Children's Home and a 49 year member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert L. Moore; and three sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters, a brother, two sisters, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Juanita's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at St. Raphael, Bardstown Road & Lancashire Avenue, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
