Mary Linda Futrell Adams, age 71, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Adams was retired as a civil service secretary at Fort Campbell. She was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church in Trigg County. For many years, Mary Linda and her husband Johnny were often seen together throughout Trigg County, as they were close and constant companions for 46 years.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Adams, Cadiz; one daughter, Leigh Ann Hallmark, Adams, Tennessee; three granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth Hallmark, Katherine Leigh Hallmark, and Margaret Claire Hallmark; one grandson, Daryl Wayne Hallmark, III; and one brother, Jerry David Futrell (Peggy), Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ophelia Frith Futrell; two brothers, Billy Futrell and Dotson Futrell; and one sister, Martha Jo Futrell.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM Monday, May 1, 2017. The funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2017, with the Reverend Don Moore and Reverend John Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.Funeral services for Mary Linda Futrell Adams, 71, of Cadiz, were held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Reverend Don Moore and Reverend John Mitchell officiated. Burial followed at East End Cemetery in Cadiz. Serving as pallbearers were Brian Futrell, Jeff Futrell, Shad Futrell, Chris Mayfield, John Bryant, David Bryant, Terry Don Moore, and Ray Gilbert. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
