Asa L. Peck, 88, died Saturday at the Libby Convalescent Center. He was born October 10, 1891 in Greeley, Colorado. He married Pearl E. McBride on March 1, 1915 at Kalispell. She preceded him in death in 1956. He retired from government service as a powerhouse operator in 1963.
He is survived by six daughters: Virginia Fisher of Troy; Kathryn Kriken of Issaquah; Naoma Sagen, Moses Lake; Helen Haugen, Egg Harbor, New Jersey; Marjorie Cavalar, Polson; and Jacie Ressler of Anaheim, California. He is also survived by six sons: Bud, Frank and John of Libby; Edward of Caldor, Idaho; Raymond of Havre; Thomas of Columbia Falls; and 61 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Peck is also survived by three sisters.
