Marquerite Borba Died of Diphtheria on 30 November 1922. She was the 7 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Borba. The funeral took place in the Catholic Cemetery at Yreka. Owing to the cause of death no funeral services were permissible. There are several other children in the family but up to date none of them have contacted the disease.
