Judy Ann Medina Obituary


Judy Ann Medina of Spiro, Oklahoma was born on July 3, 1944 to Joe Cephus and Mona (Barrick) Whitecotton, in Bokoshe Oklahoma.

She passed away on April 27, 2017 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.

Judy is survived by two daughters; Latona White of Spiro, Oklahoma and Shana Trantham and husband Tommy Joe of Durant, Oklahoma, two sons; Dean Collins and wife Donna of Bokoshe, Oklahoma and Bobby Joe Medina of Durant, Oklahoma, 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three sisters; Pat Shimp and husband Tommy Joe of Del City, Oklahoma, Violet Cessna of Spiro, Oklahoma, Caroletta Cooper and husband Eddie of McCurtain, Oklahoma, one brother Dale Whitecotton and wife Peggy of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, Daughter-in-Law, Mary Collins of Bokoshe, OK, numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank Carver, two sons; Charlie Collins and Randy Collins, two sisters’ Dica Blair and Inell Person, and three brothers; Joe Whitecotton, Beacher Whitecotton, and Jake Whitecotton. She was a retired Correctional Officer, from Texas Department of Correction at Choice Moore Prison, in Bonham, Texas. Her family loved her homemade biscuits.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Mallory Martin Chapel of Spiro. Interment will follow at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Oklahoma.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Mallory Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.

Pallbearers will be; Junior Collins, Johnathan Whitecotton, Buddy Collins, Tyler Whitecotton, Steven Foster and Paul Collins. Condolences can be made to the family on Judy’s online guestbook at www.mallorymartinfuneralhome.com

Family will receive friends Sunday from 4pm-6pm at Mallory Martin Funeral Home
