Barbara Jean Rains, a longtime resident of Safford, Arizona entered into eternal life early Friday morning, April 28, 2017, at the Lifestream Complete Senior Living at Sun Ridge in Surprise, Arizona, following a brief illness. She was 79.
Barbara was born March 31, 1938, in Oakland, California, the daughter of Fay Lerch and Francis Bawden.
Barbara leaves behind: her two daughters,three grandsons; six granddaughters; five great-grandsons and eight great-granddaughters. Barbara was predeceased by: her husbands, John Quirk, in 1979; and John Rains in March of 2016; as well as her mother, Fay Leslie Lerch Bawden; and her father, Francis Richard Bawden.
