The Death Certificates states misuse of drugs and alcohol abuse, but my brother was murdered, the people who did this to him have not been found, the details are still fuzzy.
Aug. 29, 1999, I received a phone call that Dean was in the Er on life support, he was thrown out at the Er doors of the hospital, He was clinically dead, so we decided as a family to take him off the life support, which was the hardest decision we had to make, we were with him for hours until he passed away. There is no way my brother would do this to himself, he loved his Children, to him his step children was his own, and he was getting his life on the right direction, He went to college, he was going to be a landscaper. The doctors said that after we took him off the life support he wouldn't last too long, but they didn't know my brother, he held on for hours,I guess he felt we weren't ready to let go yet, we stood there at his side for hours just remembering the memories of our times with him, we realized he was getting tired, so my sister starting singing "Amazing Grace" which was his favorite hymn, and he just faded away. To this day it is still hard to listen to Amazing Grace, but I feel that he comes back to let us know that he is safe and he is okay.

I just want to thank all of you for leaving a flower for my brother, and for [email protected] for spopnsoring Dean, It means so much to us, we miss him so much. We will hold a special though and prayer for every one.
