Mr. Lee James, 68, of Ellijay, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken May officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mr. James served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed fishing and cooking but most of all loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Helen James; children, Traci (Ken) Hamby and Todd (Chasi) James; siblings, William James, Nancy Meyers, Teresa Guy, Louise Prince, Debbie Banks and Marion Colee; grandchildren, Jackson Hamby, Payne Hamby, Jordan James, Jami James and Jayd Hamby; several nieces and nephews.
