BREEDLOVES ON FARM

Cyrus Charles Breedlove, who has been conducting a grocery store at the south end of South Seventeenth Street for some time, is preparing to move his family and household goods to Albion, near where a few months ago he bought a farm on which they will make their home. The family lived at 1816 Maple Avenue, this city.

CYRUS BREEDLOVE VERY LOW

Harlan Floyd Breedlove went to Martinsville today to be at the bedside of his father, Cyrus Charles Breedlove, who is very low, suffering from heart troubles.

He is not expected to survive much longer. Mr. Breedlove is a former Mattoon citizen.

DEATH CLAIMS A FORMER RESIDENT

Cyrus Charles Breedlove, aged 71 years, for several years a resident of Mattoon and immediate vicinity, later moving to a farm north of Martinsville, died at his home there Tuesday Evening, July 1, 1924, following an illness of heart trouble.

The funeral services were held at Martinsville this afternoon, burial will be in the Van Voorhis Cemetery, north of Hindsboro.

Mr. Breedlove was born and reared near Hindsboro. Besides his wife, Susan (Ziegler) Breedlove, he is also survived by a son, Harlan Floyd Breedlove, manager of the Mattoon Branch of the Kraft Store, a daughter, Mrs. Roscoe La Mar (Leota) Wright of LaSalle, and a brother, Linkus Breedlove, of near Arcola.

For a time Mr. Breedlove and family lived on the George H. Rudy farm, south of town, and later Mr. Breedlove engaged in the grocery business in this city.
