On Oct. 5, 1819 he was married to his second wife Mary Gaylord, who died in 1856. He was a soldier in war of the Revolution, serving in Capt. David Olmstead.s Company, of Col. Enas' Regiment. His name appears on pension rolls of 1832 and 1840 as a resident of Warren
