ALBERT LEE HUGULEY
The body of Albert Lee Huguley, World War veteran, who died
in Ocalla, Fla., Sunday, arrived in Columbus on the Seminole
Friday morning and was carried to the Striffler Mortuary chapel.
Mr. Huguley, a former Columbus man, has been making his home
in Florida for sometime. Heis survived by his mother, Mrs. Phena Huguley and a son, J. W. Huguley, Jr., of Columbus, and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Striffler Mortuary chapel, with Capt. Nichols, of the Salvation Army, conducting the services, assisted by Rev. A. J. Cone, pastor of the North Highlands Baptist church. Interment was in the American Legion plot in Riverdale cemetery.
A squad of soldiers from Ft. Benning fired a salute of the grave and a bugler sounded taps.
The following served as pallbearers: A.M. Cone, Harry Lawrence, Mr. Bagley, G.W. Newsome, Herman day and Earl Bigbee.
