Elijah Brumfield the son John and Margaret Kelly Brumfield married Charlotte Temple Ott who was the widow of Elijah’s brother, Nathaniel. Charlotte Temple Ott (1815-1895). Charlotte was the daughter of Jacob and Margaret Jackson Ott III born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Ott's death was in Mt Herman, Louisiana.
