Sharon Kay Owens Seward-Eyster, age 65, of Dover went home to be with her Lord on April 23, 2017 at home.

She was born June 8, 1951 in Scottsville, Arkansas to James and Verzell (Allen) Owens.

She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. She loved the Lord and was always there when someone needed her. She lived her life to the fullest and tried to see the goodness in everyone. She will be missed in her family's life.

She is preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years, James P. Seward Sr.; a son and daughter; and her grandparents, Chesley and Pearl (Burris) Owens and Albert (Dixie) and Vera (Mostella) Allen.

Survivors include her covenant husband, Robert Eyster; her father, James Owens Sr., of Russellville; her mother, Verzell Owens of Dover; a son, James "Bo" Seward and his fiancée, Shannon Devlin of Dover; Shannon's daughter, Dolly Woods and child, Ronald James Jansen of London; four siblings, Karen and Joe Ford of Hector, Jimmy and Linda Owens of Heber Springs, Tammy and John Hibbs of Dover, and Kathy Owens and Troy Allen of Dover; one aunt, JoElla Powers of Dover; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Shinn Chapel with Pastor Susan Allen and Bro. Bob Branch officiating.

Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers are Bo, B.J., Little T, Boone, Larry, and Billy.

Honorary pallbearers are Joe Ford and John Hibbs the brothers-in-law; her nephews; and her friends, Jeff Stewart and Larry Studdard.
