9 Feb 2007: Harvene H. McKain, 80, Frederica, DE, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, in University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. She was born in Annville to the late Harvey U.E. and Esther Ulrich Horn. She worked at Wyeth Laboratories in Marietta, PA, and later for the Knet County Wastewater Facility, retiring about 18 years ago. She was a member of Bother Modern Maturity Center, Dover, and Frederica Senior Center, Frederica. She loved her pets, loved to garden, and sang with Magnolia Church Choir as well as many local organizations. A member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by brother William Horn. Survived by her son Keith McKain of Milford, DE; daughter Donna McKain of Mt. Joy, PA; four grandchildren, Stephen, Kay, Susan, Michael; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. Memorial service Sunday, February 11, at Magnolia United Methodist Church, Magnolia, DE.
