Galen "Huss" Hosselton, 49, of rural Clay City, died Dec. 19, 1989, at the Clay County Hospital.

Mr. Hosselton was born on March 4, 1940, in Cisne, IL, the son of Fred and Alma Atteberry Hosselton. He married Loretta Carter in 1965 in Flora.

He was a farmer. He was a member of the Zif Missionary Baptist Church, Flora Elks, Moose Lodge of Olney, NAR of Flora, Illinois Land Improvements Contractors Association of Springfield, and was past president and vice president of the Eagles.

Survivng are his mother; his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Angela Woltz; a son, Garold; and a brother, Ray.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held at the Hosselton Funeral Home, Cisne with burial in the Zif Cemetery.

Bro. Havard Dasch officiated at the services.

Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Heart Association.
