NOTE: the 1900 census shows Isaiah living with his second wife Anna Neal Holdcroft. The census says they had been married for 10 years and give 1890 as their marriage year. But his divorce from Alla/Allie was only finalized in January 1900. Something doesn't add up.

In the 1920 census, he is living with "Ella" at the Denton residence. He is listed as "father-in-law". That relationship is incorrect. He is step-father to Marie Denton, therefore he would be step-father-in-law to head of house.
His wife "Ella" is listed as "mother-in-law". She is the mother of Marie (Davis) Denton. Ella's previous husband was Jacob Davis, and they had three children:
Maud Davis 1882 –
Mabel F Davis Ritter 1885 – 1916
Marie Lucille Davis Denton 1895 – 1962
According to an Ancestry family tree, Ella was married to Isaiah Holdcroft on 14 Dec 1903 in Muncie, Delaware, IN, which was about 10 months since the death of his previous wife Anna Neal Holdcroft in Feb 1903.
The 1900 census lists Ella Davis, (with her three girls), with a birth year of Aug 1860, Married, Marriage Year 1880, Years Married: 20. It says she has four children, all living, but only three are listed in the 1900 census.
