Eunice A. Quamen, 90, died peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Bethany Nursing Home, Brandon, SD. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 26 at First Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation begins at 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 25 at First Lutheran Church, where the family will greet friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Eunice Anna Røsten, daughter of Magnus and Bertha (Nelson) Røsten, was born July 23, 1926 in Marshall County, SD.
Eunice was united in marriage with Harvey N. Quamen on September 4, 1954 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Harvey Quamen Jr., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; many nieces and nephews; her special friends, Jon, Connie and Amanda Salberg, Sioux Falls, SD; and many other relatives and friends.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Sr., on March 9, 2000; her parents; three brothers, Norman Rosten, Maynard Rosten, Lloyd Rosten; two sisters, Agnes Tisher and a sister in infancy; and two sisters-in-law, Marie Rosten and Arlene Jordt.
