Lila G. Rebuck, 91, formerly of Leck Kill, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Polk Personal Care Center, Millersburg, where she had resided since June of 2015.
Lila was born in Leck Kill, on March 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Helen (Geist) and J. Emory Reitz.
She graduated from the Upper Mahanoy Township High School and had worked at the Friendly Nursing Home in Pitman and Snyder's Greenhouse in Leck Kill.
Lila was a member of Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church, Leck Kill. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and decorating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Rebuck, who passed away June 9, 2010.
Lila is survived by a daughter, Annette Moyer, of Reading; a son,Ricky, husband of Gayle Rebuck, of Leck Kill ; a sister, Leah Knerr, of Frederick, Md.; a brother, John Reitz, of Hanover; four grandchildren, Paul H. Rebuck, James S. Rebuck, Bryant S. Rebuck and Bradley P Rebuck; and five great-grandchildren, Kali, Robert James, Robert Joseph, Levi and Hazel Rebuck.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert P. Rebuck; and two sisters, June Brosius and Faye Kieffer.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. John's Reformed Cemetery, Leck Kill.
