Ropp, Mose S., son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Schweitzer) Ropp, was born at Milverton, Ont., May 20, 1874; died at Kalona, Iowa, March 10,1963; aged 88 y. 9 m. 18 d. On Sept. 20, 1896, he was married to Katie Eimen, who died Feb. 17, 1954. One son and one daughter also preceded him in death. He was the last of a family of 13 children. Surviving are 4 daughters (Mrs. Aaron Spicher, Mrs. Joe Erb, Mrs. Gordon Miller, and Katie Ropp), 7 grandchildren, 3 stepgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren. He was a member of the East Union Church, where funeral services were held March 13, in charge of J. John J. Miller, Eugene Garber, and A.
