Mrs. Bobbie Sue Banks, age 84, of Mansfield passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. She was born August 14, 1932 in Royston, Georgia to Clifford and Eva Phillips who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Banks was a longtime member of New Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzle books, bird watching and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her husband; Harry Dupree Banks. She is survived by her children; Deborah and Jeff Davis of Covington, Yvonne and Harold Daniel and Angie and Barney Johnson both of Mansfield her brother and sister-in-law; Clifford Floyd and Cathy Phillips, Jr of Apple Valle, Georgia, her grandchildren; Joseph Johnson, Michelle Sweat, Jeffrey and Joshua Davis, Eric and Adam Daniel along with 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Banks will be held at 2 o’clock Monday, April 24, 2017 at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Reese and Reverend Todd Sweat officiating. Interment will follow at New Rocky Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. J.C.
