David Brents, Age 57 of Lexington, passed away Monday December 9, 2013. Gary David Brents was born May 28, 1956 in San Diego, California to Robert Eugene Brents and Ruby Lee (Smith) Brents. He spent his early childhood in California and later in Guam, as a child of a Navy Seaman, before the family settled East of Lexington. David graduated from Lexington High School in 1974. He worked hard installing and cleaning carpet and tile flooring. He owen and operated ACC Portable Carpet Cleaning for many years. David was the proud father of two children, son Bobby and daughter Chelsey. He enjoyed his motorcycle and never missed an opportunity to ride. David was a gifted musician. He liked playing the drums and the piano and spent the past few years playing for his church, the Corbett Baptist Church. He will be dearly missed!
David leaves behind: his mother, Ruby of the home; his son, Bobby Brents of the home; his daughter Chelsey Brents of Altus, Oklahoma; brother Johnnie Brents of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; niece, Raven Williams and husband Raymond and their kids, Makayla and Austin all of Lexington and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service has been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Corbett Baptist Church.
