Iowa VENTURA — Leo Francis Lallier, 76, 205 West View Drive, Ventura, died Monday (Aug. 9, 2004) at Heritage Health Care in Mason City. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1001 Ninth Ave. S., Clear Lake, with Monsignor Robert Hogan officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St. with a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Leo was born May 23, 1928, in Buffalo Center, the son of Oswald F. and Sarah (Kelch) Lallier. He graduated from Algona High School. Leo served his country in the Army National Guard during the Korean War. He worked for Northern Natural Gas for 32 years, retiring in 1984. After retirement, Leo and Delores volunteered for various senior programs both in Iowa and Arizona. They wintered in Apache Junction, Ariz. Leo loved gardening, fishing, and camping with his family. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Leo is survived by three children, Vicki McNally and her husband Patrick, of Tucson, Ariz., Debra Sharits and Jack Wignot, Redondo Beach, Calif. and Kristy Prall and her husband, Kirk, of Meridian, Idaho; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, wife Delores, July 2, 2004; and granddaughter Melissa. Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, (641) 357-2193.
