Mrs. Anna Maas, wife of Bernard Maas of Melrose township, about five miles southeast of Quincy, died at 12:30 this afternoon of bronchitis, after an illness of two months. Deceased was 58 years of age, and was born in Hanover, Germany.

She leaves a husband; one son, and five married daughters. Three of the daughters live in Melrose township, and the other two in Marion county, Missouri.
